The QESH manager is part of the plant MT and reports into the Quality director.

Your Role:

As QESH Manager, you will:

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure all QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety & Health) objectives are met and exceeded.
• Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across all production lines.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international standards and regulations.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of QESH policies and procedures.
• Analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a key advisor to senior management on all matters related to QESH.

What We’re Looking For

Leadership

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Operational Excellence

• Track record of implementing best practices in quality, safety, and environmental management.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement

• Passion for identifying opportunities for process optimization and risk reduction.
• Ability to lead and facilitate improvement projects from concept to completion.
• Strong change management skills.

Compliance & Reporting

• In-depth knowledge of QESH-related regulations (ISO, HACCP, BRC, IFS, etc.).
• Experience with audits, certification processes, and regulatory reporting.
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and reporting abilities.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of QESH management experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; other language skills are a plus.
• Strong IT skills (MS Office, QESH management systems).
