As a planner, you'll work in a team of 8 planners, taking on the challenge together to schedule all shipments as smoothly and efficiently as possible to keep our customers satisfied. At our new office in Tilburg, you'll learn all the ins and outs of the planning profession.
Description
As a planner, your responsibilities include:
Creating and managing schedules for deliveries and incoming containers;
Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely deliveries;
Analyzing inventory data and making decisions to prevent bottlenecks;
Optimizing supply chain processes to improve efficiency;
Maintaining accurate records of planning data and delivery schedules;
Managing the planning and coordination of releasing sales orders to the warehouse, handling the administrative processing (booking), and notifying the recipient and/or carrier of goods ready for shipment;
Overseeing outbound pallet and parcel shipments;
Collaborating with colleagues on logistical challenges, such as customer-specific promotions or projects.
Profile
As a planner, you have the following profile:
A relevant education in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar field;
0 to 2 years of work experience;
Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
A proactive and solution-oriented attitude, combined with strong communication skills.
