You'll be hired by the company for a 3-month period, offering operational and administrative assistance to the Operations Manager and his team. You'll work in the office in Rotterdam as part of a team of 20 people. You'll be carrying out logistics administrative tasks for a freight forwarding player with Chinese roots. As Logistics Administrative Assistant you'll be a key support for the Operations Manager and the wider team of 20. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing operational and administrative assistance to the team.
- Handling various logistics and administrative tasks for the general cargo operations.
- Assisting with the daily flow of goods and information.
- You'll be updating the in-house system with vessel ETA/ETD.
- You'll be uploading Bill of Ladings in the system and sending them to the clients by emails.
- You closely monitor freight movements and flexibly adjust schedules in the system.
- You work closely with the documentation and IT departments to ensure a smooth and error-free flow of information.
- You ensure timely and accurate updates in relevant systems.

To be considered for the position of Logistics Administrative Assistant we hope that you bring the following knowledge and skills:
- You can work 40hrs per week .
- 1+ years of experience in logistics/transport and/or administration.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- You are 100% customer-oriented, and a great team player.
- A proactive and detail-oriented professional.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office is required.
- Fluent in English. Dutch and/or other European language is a pluspoint.
- You are immediately available for a 3-month assignment.

- Salary between €2800-3000 gross per month based on knowledge and experience.
- Holiday pay: 8% of base salary.
- You are entitled to 6 days of paid annual leave during the contract period.
- Working from home (1 day per week).
- Good news, you will be employed directly by the company (no interim).
