As a Technical Sourcer, you’ll play a key role in building the teams that power our trading and technology operations. You’ll combine curiosity with precision to uncover top talent in one of the most competitive markets in the world. Using data, technology, and a collaborative approach, you’ll identify, engage, and inspire the people who will help Optiver keep leading the way. 

What you’ll do 

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define talent needs, calibrate candidate profiles, and build sourcing strategies. 
  • Map markets and talent pools: identify, research, and engage high-potential candidates across multiple channels and regions. 
  • Engage and convert passive talent through tailored, high-touch outreach that tells Optiver’s story. 
  • Develop and maintain proactive pipelines to support both current and future hiring needs. 
  • Deliver insights – provide hiring teams with data on market trends, compensation, competitor movement, and sourcing performance. 
  • Screen candidates for interest and qualifications while delivering a compelling and consistent Optiver pitch.
  • Track and optimize sourcing metrics such as response rate, pipeline conversions, and other metrics to continuously improve efficiency. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to elevate candidate experience and employer branding. 
  • Continuously experiment with new sourcing tools and AI-enabled platforms to improve reach and efficiency. 

Who you are 

  • 3+ years of sourcing, recruiting or executive search experience, with a focus on technical or hard-to-fill roles in a competitive market. 
  • Deep knowledge of sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and talent market trends. 
  • Strong consultative skills and the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders. 
  • Passion for building inclusive pipelines and using data to drive strategy. 
  • High attention to detail, follow-through, and a commitment to delivering excellent candidate experiences. 
  • Able to manage multiple searches and shifting priorities without losing momentum. 
  • Familiar and comfortable using technology and AI tools to work smarter at scale.
