To strengthen our ICT team, we are looking for an Application Support Engineer. You will provide first-line support to internal users of our ICT applications.

These include our self-developed HR system Paris, planning application Quintiq, recruitment system iCIMS, and the financial and payroll system SAP.
In addition, you will create instructions and test updates of the applications.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting users with questions and issues related to applications via our ticketing system TOPdesk or by phone;

• Identifying the root causes of application errors and ensuring these are resolved;

• Performing proactive checks to ensure the quality of the applications and their data;

• Testing improvements to applications, including the message exchange between applications;

• Working closely with ICT Business Consultants responsible for the various applications within OTTO;

• Creating work instructions for users.

Who are you and what do you bring?

You have an enthusiastic and strong personality. You know how to get things done and you’re always willing to go the extra mile. Furthermore, you bring the following:

• Minimum MBO (secondary vocational education) level of working and thinking;

• Strong analytical skills;

• Customer- and solution-oriented mindset;

• Good command of Dutch or English;

• Strong digital skills;

• Willingness and interest to learn new technologies;

• Education in ICT (Application Management) is a plus;

• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) is a plus;

• Experience with testing is a plus;

• Speaking Polish is considered an advantage.
