Are you analytical, precise and interested in working in a laboratory? In our modern food factory in Meppel, you as a Quality Control Analyst (Physical/Chemical) make sure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

You will work in the Physical/Chemical Laboratory, performing different tests and analyses to check the quality of raw materials and finished products. Your main focus will be chemistry, but you may also support the microbiology lab when needed.

Your main tasks:

• Perform physical and chemical tests on milk by-products, egg white, milk powder and proteins;
• Carry out fat and protein extractions and analyse samples;
• Work with encapsulates and perform infrared (IR) analyses;
• Record and report test results in the system;
• Investigate deviations and support product and method development;
• Keep laboratory equipment clean, calibrated and in good condition;
• Follow safety and hygiene rules carefully;
• Help new colleagues and interns during their training.

• Salary between €3,200 and €4,000 gross per month (based on experience);
• Working hours: 36 hours preferred, but 32 hours also possible;
• A 9-month contract;
• Start date: as soon as possible;
• Day shift, Monday to Friday (start between 8:00 and 8:30, team meeting at 8:15);

You will work in a modern production site in Meppel, where we make and package high-quality dairy and protein-based products. Our ingredients are used worldwide — from sports nutrition to baby food and medical products.

The QC team has around 10 members (5 in shifts and 5 in day shifts). The atmosphere is professional, friendly, and focused on quality.

• MBO level 3–4 education in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a similar field;
• Experience in chemical or microbiological laboratory work is a plus;
• Accurate, clean and safety-minded work style;
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Dutch and English language skills (both used daily);
• Junior to Medior level candidates are welcome;
• Someone who enjoys teamwork and can bring positive energy to the group!
