  • Work closely with the operations team providing counsel and guidance regarding policies, procedures, and state and federal regulatory compliance requirements; keep management and operations informed of internal and external HR developments that may impact overall effectiveness
  • Help create strategies to improve absenteeism
  • Guide managers and supervisors in appropriate and fair Human Resources practices; assist supervisors with performance management, including delivery of disciplinary action for hourly employees
  • Maintain associate personnel files, ensure documents and manuals are kept current, accurate, confidential, and in compliance with company policies and government regulations
  • Partner with leave administrator and management team to effectively administer and track leave programs including short-term disability, worker's compensation, and personal leaves
  • Coaches and counsels' management and employees regarding policies and procedures, discipline, interpersonal and teamwork opportunities.
  • Promotes employee engagement through regular, personal contact with employees resulting in a positive atmosphere

Gestelde eisen
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area with accompanying high level analytical skills
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as HR generalist in the Netherlands
  • Knowledge of and experience in the field of HR information systems and HR analytics
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in Dutch and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel and experience working with HR databases
  • Pro-activeness and initiative solving problems
  • Flexibility
