Sr Production Engineer

The sr production engineer plays a key role in the technical design of the yacht’s construction.

• Acting as the central coordinator for the complete technical design of a yacht’s building construction;
• Collaborating closely with the project leader and the draftsman on the full technical realization of the yacht;
• Translating design concepts into detailed technical and production drawings;
• Serving as the key link between various departments;
• Verifying the work drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and quality requirements;
• Ensuring all required materials are ordered and delivered by the suppliers;
• Monitoring the feasibility, weight, strength, and quality standards of constructions to meet the high demands of top-class yacht building;
• Supporting efficient and smooth construction processes through thorough technical preparation and planning;
• Contributing to solutions for complex technical challenges unique to each custom yacht project

This client has already built more than 200 unique yachts and has become a leading superyacht builder in recent years. No wish is too ambitious, and with a workforce of approximately 400 employees, they build with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

You are analytical and solution-oriented with great communication skills.

• A bachelor’s degree in naval architecture with 3 years of experience in shipbuilding, OR a secondary vocational education with 5 years of experience in shipbuilding;
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD and with Rhino;
• Broad knowledge of ship- and yacht constructions;
• An excellent command of the English language;
• A passion for luxury yachts;
• The eligibility to work in the Netherlands
