Als Logistic Coordinator interim vorm je de essentiële schakel tussen klanten, leveranciers en vervoerders binnen de internationale handel. Je regelt exportzendingen van boeking tot levering en krijgt een uniek kijkje in de wereldwijde logistiek. As a Logistic Coordinator interim you will be the key link between our customers, suppliers, and carriers, and you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics activities. You will get a unique insight into international trade and the different logistics aspects involved.
Description
- Plan and coordinate international sea freight export shipments (FCL/LCL) to destinations outside the EU, from booking through to final delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, hauliers, warehouses, and relevant authorities.
- Coordinate daily with logistics partners and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient shipment execution.
- Prepare, review, and manage all required export documentation in compliance with international trade regulations.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate updates, delays, and solutions to customers and internal teams.
- Support freight rate negotiations by requesting, comparing, and evaluating transport quotations.
- Identify recurring operational challenges and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Operations teams to align shipment planning and customer requirements.
- Develop expertise in transport cost management, supplier performance, and logistics optimisation.
- Ensure a high level of service by maintaining accurate administration and delivering a smooth export process from start to finish.
Profile
- Have a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Bring 2+ years of experience in international logistics or export operations
- Have experience working with ERP systems
- Are fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
