As a Green Maintenance Worker, you will maintain public green spaces in Capelle aan den IJssel through pruning, hoeing, and litter collection. What you'll be doing
As a Green Maintenance Worker, you will help maintain public green spaces in Capelle aan den IJssel. Your tasks may include pruning, hoeing, litter collection, and removing graffiti using a high-pressure washer. This means you will be involved in a variety of outdoor maintenance activities.
Together with a team of dedicated colleagues, you will help keep the city clean, tidy, and attractive. A job where you can truly take pride in the results of your work.
Your workday starts at 7:00 AM, and if the day's tasks go smoothly, you will usually return to the depot around 4:00 PM. There, you will clean your equipment and organize your materials, ensuring everything is ready for the next working day.

You'll receive

- Secondary employment benefits in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Raw Materials, Energy and Environment (GEO), including an end-of-year bonus accrued monthly and travel expense of €0,23 p/km.
- Has experience in green maintenance or another landscaping-related profession
- Speaks Dutch or English
- Holds a valid VCA certificate or is willing to obtain one (at our expense, of course!)
- Has a valid category B driving licence, a car is not required
- Is available to start on short notice.
