In this role as Logistics Coordinator & Technical Sales Assistant you will combine business development, technical sales, and supply chain management. You will be the central point of contact between suppliers, customers, and international branches (primarily West Africa). Since most of their suppliers and partners are also based in Europe, they are now building a bridge to the European market. From their new hub in Rotterdam, they aim to further develop, with a sharp focus on the Netherlands. As a pioneer at this location, you will play a key role in this adventure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating transport (import/export/cross-trade) via sea/air and road for lifting equipment and offshore containers.
• Maintaining close contact with European suppliers and tracking orders from request to delivery.
• Preparing quotations, processing orders, and assisting the Technical Sales team in developing customer inquiries.
• Ensuring all mandatory (DNV/EN) inspection certificates and shipping and customs documents are correctly included with shipments.
• As the first employee, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations at the new location in Rotterdam.
• Developing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within Europe.
• Traveling to customers & suppliers and participating in various trade fairs & events.

To be considered for the position of Logistics Coordinator / Technical Sales Assistant, we hope you bring the following knowledge and skills:

• You have a Bachelor's degree level of thinking and working in the direction of Logistics, Commerce, or Engineering.
• You have at least 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience as a Logistics Coordinator or Sales Coordinator.
• You have experience or interest in the maritime sector, offshore, or industrial materials.
• You are independent, entrepreneurial, and stress-resistant.
• You enjoy working in a dynamic 'pioneer environment'.
• Excellent command of the English language (Dutch and French are a big plus).
• You work accurately and independently. You don't wait around, but take initiative and contribute to process optimization.
• You have a flexible work attitude and a positive disposition, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• You are willing to travel abroad for a few weeks a year (primarily West Africa).
• You are happy to work from home 5 days a week (initially).

Aanbod

Our client offers you a very enjoyable and challenging role within an international and growing organization, along with the following conditions:

• Full-time jo (40 hours per week).
• Salary between €3000 and €4000 gross, depending on knowledge and experience.
• No collective pension scheme. In compensation for this, you will receive a monthly gross financial allowance.
• End-of-year bonus.
• Travel expenses reimbursement of €0.23 cents per kilometer.
• 25 vacation days per year.
• Hybrid work (fully from home).
