Your role

As a CAD Engineer at TILLEN, you will work on engineering projects focused on developing 3D designs. From the initial concept to the detailed final design, you will be the one who ensures that each design perfectly meets the requirements of the industry as well as our customers. Together with your colleagues, you transform the customer's needs and challenges into practical, achievable solutions that have a direct impact on the quality and success of the project. You ensure the quality and correct design of production drawings and 3D models, which ultimately contribute to the overall project.

With your final CAD models, you lay the foundation for the next steps in the project. In cooperation with the Design Engineer, you ensure that the technical drawings are correct in every detail and that the control workflow is completed flawlessly. You process the results of the checks and provide the project owner with the final designs. Keeping up to date with the latest production methods and CAD skills will help you grow in your role. You will be part of the Design Department and work closely with your colleagues to achieve the best possible results.

What we expect

• MBO or HBO level of thinking and work;

• At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role;

• Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, NX) and experience with 2D CAD software (AutoCAD, DraftSight);

• Experience creating technical drawings for the fabrication of mechanical steel structures;

• Good command of the English language, both oral and written;

• Willingness to work in a team, ability to work accurately, clear communication skills and ability to work with schedule and deadlines.
