Process Operator

We are seeking a Process Operator to run and monitor the day-to-day production of liquid aluminum sulfate (LAS), manufactured through the reaction of sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄) and aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)₃), as well as to support the handling and blending of PAC and other water treatment chemicals. In this role, you will operate production equipment, control process parameters, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

Gevraagd

● Operate and monitor production equipment (reactors, pumps, tanks) for the LAS production process according to standard operating procedures
● Monitor and control process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, concentration) and make adjustments as needed
● Carry out loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products (tankers, IBCs, drums)
● Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventive maintenance, and report malfunctions or deviations
● Take process samples for QC laboratory analysis and accurately record production data in logbooks/systems
● Support start-up, shutdown, and cleaning of production lines
● Follow all HSE procedures and wear required PPE when working with corrosive and hazardous chemicals
● Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the work area complies with safety and environmental standards
● Collaborate closely with QC, HSE, and the Plant Manager to ensure smooth and safe operations
● Be available to work in shifts when required by the production schedule
