The Job
As a Technical Operator - Special Machinery at Anteryon, you will work in a High Mix Low Volume production environment, where every day brings different products, processes, and challenges. You will operate and set up specialized machinery used for precision processes such as grinding, polishing, and other glass processing operations.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality products according to the required specifications. You monitor the process, perform measurements and quality checks, and adjust the machine when necessary. As you gain experience, you will learn to work with different machines and processes, becoming broadly deployable within our production environment.
This is not a standard production line where you simply press a button. We are looking for someone who is technically minded, works accurately, and enjoys understanding how a process works and how it can be improved.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You set up, operate, and change over specialized production machines.
- You produce different products in small series, using both manual and machine-based processes.
- You work according to technical drawings, routings, and work instructions.
- You monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure consistent quality.
- You perform measurements and visual inspections to check that products meet specifications.
- You identify deviations and take action when the process or product does not meet requirements.
- You register production and measurement data to ensure proper traceability.
- You work closely with colleagues, Quality, and Engineering.
- You contribute to process improvements and help make our way of working smarter and more efficient.
- You develop your skills across multiple machines and processes.
We are looking for
- You have technical insight and enjoy working with machines and precision processes.
- You work accurately and independently, with a strong focus on quality.
- You are curious and want to understand why something works - or why it does not.
- You take responsibility when you notice a deviation and, where possible, look for the cause and a solution.
- You are motivated to learn new machines, processes, and techniques.
- You have a technical MBO background or relevant experience in a technical production environment.
- Experience in machining, precision engineering, or another high-precision manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Experience with glass processing, grinding, polishing, or lithography is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- You have good communication skills in English.
We offer
- 25 vacation days and 5 additional leave days (with the option to purchase up to 8 extra days).
- The opportunity to work at a highly innovative company where you learn something new every day.
- An extensive benefits package, including a generous pension plan.
- A ‘Culture Club’ that organizes various activities for the staff.
The position is based in Eindhoven.
