Driver B

Your new employer is a large logistics company that processes and delivers thousands of packages daily throughout the Netherlands. From a modern distribution point, drivers and logistics employees work together to serve customers on time every day. You'll be working in an environment where quality, reliability, and customer-focused work are important.

As a Driver's License B driver, you ensure that packages are delivered to customers safely and on time.

• You start your day at the sorting center in Den Bosch, where you load your van and prepare the packages in the correct order for your route.
• During your onboarding period, you'll go out together with an experienced driver. This way you'll learn the route, how to use the handheld scanner, and the way of working.
• You drive a delivery van through Den Bosch and the surrounding area, delivering regular packages to private and business customers.
• In addition to delivering packages, you also collect return shipments and ensure they get back to the correct location.
• The route is built up gradually: you start with about 70 addresses and grow to an average of 150 stops per day once you're fully trained.
• At the end of your route, you return any undelivered packages to the depot and wrap up your workday.
• Your working hours are between 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Depending on the route and your preference, you work approximately 8 hours per day. You work Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday (with a 40% Saturday surcharge).
• Want to work fewer days? That's also possible — Monday and Saturday are the days where extra staffing is often needed.

• You hold a valid Driver's License B.
• Being able to apply for a VOG (Certificate of Conduct) is part of the procedure.
• You speak good Dutch or good English to be able to address customers in a friendly manner.
• You are responsible and handle the packages and the delivery van with care.
• Physical work is no problem for you; frequent getting in and out and lifting packages is part of the job.
• A customer-oriented attitude and a presentable appearance suit you.
• Experience as a driver, courier, or package deliverer is a nice bonus, but not a requirement.

How we pay you back description

• A gross hourly wage of €15.72.
• A Saturday surcharge of 40%.
• 25 vacation days.
• 8.33% holiday allowance.
• Travel expense reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer from 10 km onward.
• Pension through the applicable CLA (collective labor agreement).
• Good guidance from your very first day.
