We are currently looking for individuals to join the growing Smithers Commodity Testing and Inspection division. This division consists of two very exciting acquisitions for Smithers!
Stockpile surveying and protection B.V. (Ssp, a Smithers Company), acquired by the Smithers Group in 2021. Established 20 years ago, Ssp, a Smithers company, is a well-known and respected global provider of inspection, supervision, sampling, weight determination and analytical services for Solid Fuels, Metals, Minerals, Ores, Concentrates and Fertilizers.
Marine Inspection and Logistics International Rotterdam B.V. , ( MIL , a Smithers Company ) acquired by the Smithers Group a few months back in 2023, to expand their Commodity Testing and Inspection division services to also include steel scrap quality inspections, hot briquetted iron (HBI) and direct reduced iron (DRI) sampling and inspections. Besides this, MIL is also very active in Marine Surveys and barge gauging.
