As an electrician, you will be part of an enthusiastic team and you will have a varied and challenging job where no two days are the same. You will get a lot of freedom and responsibility to do your work independently and you are expected to think along and show initiative to further improve the production processes. As an electrician, you are responsible for solving malfunctions within the production process. You check the adjustments within the PLC programs. Other activities that belong to your range of tasks:

• Performing inspections and preventive maintenance;
• Performing modification, overhaul and installation work;
• Mounting and adjusting measurement and control equipment, both electronic and pneumatic;
• Cabling/conduit work.

You will work a 5-week schedule: 3 weeks you will work a day shift, 1 week you will work an early shift, 1 week you will work an afternoon shift and following the afternoon shift and weekend standby duty.

As an electrician, you are not afraid of a challenge and it is your ingenuity that makes you stand out in the technical field. You also have the following qualities:

• Senior secondary vocational education (MBO) level 4 in electrical engineering or Mechatronics;
• You have knowledge of PLC Siemens S7.
• You are not afraid to work emergency shifts.

Furthermore, because of your knowledge you are experienced enough to work independently. It is also important that you can work well together with your colleagues so that you can find solutions quickly. An open way of communicating promotes the working atmosphere and ensures an informal relationship with colleagues and manager. It is highly appreciated if you show a proactive attitude and come up with improvement proposals in order to optimise the production.
