TIP/Apollo – Sales Account Manager (Workshops) 

Location: ASC – Amsterdam (to start with)

Headquarteredin Amsterdam, we service our customers from 128 locations spread over 18 countries in Europe. This role is advertised for an exciting new TIP Group venture.   

Job Summary  

The transportation, logistics, and the trailer industry are undergoing a transformation. So, this is a unique opportunity to become a part of a brand-new TIP Group venture where you’ll be shaping solutions with the shared goal of electrification and digitization of logistics fleets and workshops across Europe.   

In this role, you will be the workshop champion, driving sales and building successful partnerships with essential partners across Europe to effectively growthis new venture. You’ll be a part of an enterprising and newly built team with both corporate and startup backgrounds.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with workshop owners and managers across Europe, recognizing them as valued partners in our ecosystem. 

  • Build and manage a recurring pipeline of Sales Qualified leads and actively seek out profitable business opportunities. 

  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of our solution, e.g. through digital demos 

  • Work together with our Customer Success Specialist and Product Marketing Manager, and tailor sales strategies to support growth. 

  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new workshop partners, providing comprehensive training and ongoing support. 

  • Develop an industry network to generate organic leads and create long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. 

  • Stay uptodate on trends and challenges within the industry, using that knowledge to enhance sales strategies. 

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as sales quotas, customer acquisition, and retention rates. 

Whilst the above outlines the main duties of the post the list is not exhaustive, and duties may need to change in the light of future developments or from time to time as directed by your supervisor or manager. 

Qualifications/Requirements 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or fleet management sector. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively connect with workshop owners and managers. 

  • Experience selling SaaS solutions and demonstrating their value proposition to potential customers. 

  • Strong existing network in logistics/transport industry 

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Mandatory. Any other European language is a distinct advantage.  

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or Hubspot) and other sales tools. 

  • Team player, able to work and communicate closely with peers in cross-functional and international teams to reach common goals. 

  • Willingness to travel to stakeholders across the Netherlands and EU. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
