For Feadship, we are looking for talented and passionate Engineers to strengthen their Special Engineering/Exterior (EXT) team. As an Engineer, you will be jointly responsible for the coordinated, high-quality, and timely development of the final design of our prestigious Feadship yachts.

• Detail engineering of yacht equipment and EXT doors, seamless integration into the EXT design.
• Integration of shaftline and steering systems.
• Development of deck and ceiling arrangements, teakwood, and railings.
• Elaboration of local arrangements such as EXT furniture, EXT stairs, EXT pillars, EXT masts, and EXT sun awnings.

You won't be doing all of this alone; instead, you will work closely with designers, suppliers, Lead/Senior Engineers, and other engineering disciplines. You will be directly supervised by a Senior Engineer.

Gevraagd

• MBO/HBO level of education.
• Experience with software programs such as NX and Solid Edge/SolidWorks is a plus.
• Knowledge in important regulations such as LROS, REG YC A/B and SOLAS is a big advantage
• Relevant work experience in yacht building, preferably on projects of 30 meters or larger.
• Proficiency in creating mechanical engineering drawings for assemblies and individual components.
• Knowledge of high-quality materials and finishing standards.
• Competence in working with schedules and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to estimate hours and create task lists for reporting status and progress to the Senior Engineer.
• Capability to estimate weights.
• Familiarity with production techniques and experience with the manufacturability of engineered components.
