As Business Development Specialist Food Contact Compliance, you are responsible for initiating, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders that are part of the food contact material production chain. You do this in a way that ensures that customer needs are well understood, and you have access to the right decisionmakers. Your responsibilities include:

• Global key accounts will fall under your responsibility, as well as mid size customers and prospects, based in North-Western Europe
• In close cooperation with analytical experts, you develop the proposals for studies and projects that match the customer needs, and you set the applicable commercial conditions
• You perform the proposal follow-up, including negotiation, deal closure, and evaluation
• You identify opportunities for follow-up on basis of customer insights as well as market and technological trends

Gevraagd

For this position as Business Development Specialist Food Contact Compliance we are looking for a candidate with a strong network of regulatory and/or quality professionals in the Food Contact Material world

• Hbo or MSc degree in Biotechnology, Analytical (bio)chemistry, Life Science and Technology are other relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience B2B sales
• Strong network of regulatory and/or quality professionals in the food contact material industry
• Thorough knowledge of relevant legilisation and regulations related to food contact materials
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit, analytical power, a winning mentality, and a relationship builder.

Aanbod

• Long-term employment, starting with a one-year contract directly with the company
• Salary that matches the position, and depends on your experience and expertise
• Full-time position (40 hours/week), where 32 hours a week is negotiable
