About the job

As an International Trader for the German market (with a focus on non-ferrous commodities), you will play an important role in expanding the purchasing network. Your primary responsibility will be to buy brass, aluminum, e-motors, and copper from key partners in Germany.

Your responsibilities are:

• Providing market insights, pricing strategies, and advice to support the company’s objectives;
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients;
• Managing dynamic markets and understanding supplier needs;
• Overseeing weekly trades worth thousands of euros, using data-driven decision-making;
• Leading negotiations on pricing, purchasing, delivery, and settlements.

You will be part of a 12-member trading team primarily focused on the Dutch, Belgian, French, and German markets. With a proactive and positive mindset, they aim to maximize market opportunities and contribute to a sustainable future.

Your qualities

For the role of International Trader (German market), I am looking for someone who is fluent in German. A driven professional with a commercial mindset and a passion for sustainability will thrive in this position. You excel at building relationships and are comfortable in a dynamic environment where quick thinking and decision-making are essential.

You have:

• A bachelor’s degree;
• Up to five years of commercial experience (trading experience required);
• Strong skills in building and managing client relationships;
• Fluency in German, proficiency in Dutch and/or English is a plus;
• An enthusiastic and results-driven personality;
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
