Learn how salads, vegetables, and fruit juices are made for supermarkets as a full-time production employee in Venlo.
What are you going to do?
You will be part of the production of fruit and fruit packages. You will work in different departments, depending on your experience. You will cut the vegetables and/or fruit, pack them, and assemble complete salads.

What are the working hours?
You will work an average of 38 hours in three shifts, as the process operates continuously 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Who are you?
- You speak English or Dutch
- Good health condition, capable of carrying heavy weights and walking extensively
- Comfortable with working in 3 shifts; Hessing operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Able to reach racks that are 160 cm high at the production line
- Personal hygiene is important, and you follow the HACCP rules
- No issues with working in a cold (3 degrees Celsius) and wet environment
- Salary of €14.09 per hour for 18+ years
In addition:
- 10.5% holiday allowance
- You will get shift allowance, varying from 125% to 140%
- The job is fulltime, you will be working 38 hours in average
- You will receive training for various positions

Hessing BV cuts and processes vegetables and fruit; a profession they have been managing for 60 years. Fresh ingredients are processed into ready-to-cook vegetables, processed fruit, and meal salads. These products are then delivered to supermarkets, fast food chains, wholesalers, catering companies and in-flight caterers.The working environment is fine, you are all day between fruit so you feel healthy. It is cool (3 degrees Celsius) and there is a strong smell of fruit. It can be wet and noisy.
