Working hours

Employment agency Manpower is looking for several Pick & Pack production employees for Gate Gourmet at Schiphol.

⚠️ Important: you must have lived in the Netherlands for at least 8 years due to the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee screening.

As a Pick & Pack production employee, you will be responsible for carefully preparing trolleys according to strict guidelines. Your tasks will include:

• Inspection and assembly: You count and check components and assemble the trolleys accurately
• Loading and unloading: You receive and check incoming goods, including trolleys
• Administration: You register the use of goods in the ERP system
• Inventory management: You count customs items and report this information to the Finance department
• Guidance: Upon request, you guide new colleagues and help them get started

During your onboarding period, you will be assigned a buddy who will help you get acquainted with the company and the tasks.

What's in it for you

• Gross salary of €15.85 per hour (including 5.12% ATV allowance)
• Travel allowance according to Gate Gourmet's policy
• Full-time position of 40 hours per week
• €200.- signing bonus at start  
• €300.- bonus for staying until the end of the summer (paid in September, if still employed)
• Temporary contract through Manpower with the possibility of a permanent contract if performance is good

Functie-eisen

• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (due to safety regulations)
• Availability of 40 hours per week
• The ability to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and Security Clearance (VGB) (strict requirement)
• Attention to detail, even under pressure
• Willingness to undergo the screening process conducted by the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (this requires having lived in the Netherlands for the past eight years).

In addition, it’s an advantage if you have experience in airline catering or HACCP. Affinity with food is also a plus.
