Outfitting Engineering Coordinator

Looking for a job in which you are responsible for the delivery of an engineering package? Do you have the skills to communicate in a clear and motivating way? Then this could be your next job!

Function

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer who will work on exciting marine projects, helping to turn designs into reality. As part of the outfit engineering team, you will focus on creating detailed technical drawings and supporting the production process. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail. Your responsibilities:

Work with a project team to build large marine projects, reporting to the Lead Engineer.
Turn design concepts into technical drawings, documents, and specifications.
Support the production process with clear and accurate information.
Ensure the work meets industry standards, laws, and regulations.
Review design plans and prepare detailed drawings for purchasing and subcontracting.
Organize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high quality.

Requirements

MBO+ education or equivalent experience in a related field.
3-5 years of experience, ideally in the maritime or yacht-building industry.
Good at planning, organizing, and communicating.
A team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Skilled in MS Office, AutoCAD, and/or Rhinoceros.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
