Are you interested in gaining experience with one of the largest internet exchanges in Europe?We are working with a global Internet exchange with over 850 connected networks searching for a Senior Network Engineer in Amsterdam to troubleshoot and optimize their complex multi vendor environment.
Be the go to for complex network escalations, migrations and the rollout of network and automation projects around optimizing the IP infrastructure (MPLS, BGP, OSPF ISIS..).
You will be joining a company with a 93% retention rate of engineers that prioritises your progression within the company and offers support to help you transition into more senior roles.
Gevraagd
- Day-to-day operations and the rollout of new network projects
- Troubleshooting and resolving escalated network issues
- Supporting network automation projects (primarily with Bash and Python)
- Configuration and maintenance of BGP and other routing protocols
- Assisting in the design and optimization of MPLS/VPLS, Ethernet, and IP networks
- Occasional on-call support
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools like Bash and Python (Ansible scripting is a plus)
- Good understanding of BGP and routing protocols (OSPF, MPLS, etc.)
- Familiarity with MPLS/VPLS, Ethernet, and IP networking
- Linux system knowledge is an advantage
Salaris
