Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical, IT and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

As the Subcontract Manager, you will oversee all aspects of subcontract management for assigned contracts within our naval shipbuilding projects. Your role will involve applying your expertise to guide the selection and negotiation phases, ensuring subcontractors complete their tasks on time, within the established budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will foster effective communication and cooperation with clients.

Key Responsibilities

 Coordinating and managing subcontractors and suppliers throughout the preparation and execution phases of projects, focusing on short- and medium-term objectives.  Ensuring that all requirements and specifications are met, managing changes effectively, and maintaining strong working relationships with subcontractors.  Overseeing integration efforts and guaranteeing that all project deliverables and contractual obligations are fulfilled.  Participating in reviews and key project milestones such as FAT, HAT, and SAT to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.  Assisting with evaluations and analyses to support project planning and execution.

 A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing large, complex manufacturing projects, preferably in offshore or shipbuilding environments.  Holding an IMPA D certification.  Familiarity with engineering principles and practices.  A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical business administration or a related field.  Excellent references, as a security screening will be part of the hiring process.  Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or holding both an EU and non-EU nationality/passport are not eligible, due to the nature of the project security requirements.
