As a Field Service Engineer, based on work orders created by Process Operators, you will be responsible for preparing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, project work and IMAC, in accordance with the applicable procedures and work instructions, so that agreed SLAs and contracts are met. You work with supervisor and Process Operators about the state of affairs, urgencies and priorities and work to be performed, colleagues (Senior) Field Service Engineers for the exchange of information and knowledge, internal officers (Technical support), in the context of carrying out and coordinating work, external relations (customers, users) with regard to incidents, questions and the provision of information, making a diagnosis, discussing solutions.

Key responsibilities:

Independently performing work on the basis of assignments given by Process Operators, whereby work to be performed is often specified
Determining the approach and sequence of work within assignments, but always in consultation with Process Operators
Consulting with (representatives of) customers about preventive and corrective maintenance
Testing and releasing installations to customers after work has been carried out
Escalating assignments in case of problems with required materials, tools and/or time commitment to supervisor and Process Operators
Effective and efficient execution of work based on the schedule issued by the Process Operators and within the SLAs and contracts agreed with customers Timely reporting and administration of relevant data from jobs in accordance with agreed KPIs
Clear communication and representative representation of the company to both internal and external contacts
Maintaining the confidentiality of data and information
Compliance with procedures, operating rules and safety, quality, environmental and other regulations as applicable to the position
Receiving orders from Process Operators, checking incoming orders and checking the working environment in accordance with the applicable procedures
Analyze and solve problems with loose parts in ATMs, without the use of spare parts or tools
Perform system modifications and/or release updates, provided that this can be done without tools
Consults with customers about problems, malfunctions and work
If necessary, consults with senior colleague or internal organization (Technical Support) about complex hardware or software problems
Test systems after work has been carried out and release them for use to customers
Signing off work orders in the automated system, including travel and working hours, clear diagnosis and resolution with correct coding, (as well as materials used)

Required qualifications:

Education or equivalent work experience required
Technical School Diploma
Driver's license and driving record that meets DN's fleet requirements
Insight into product range, customer-specific systems, electronics and electricity, hardware and software, mechanics (mechatronics)
Dutch and English language (oral and written)
Familiar with applicable procedures, guidelines, (national and international) laws and regulations, norms and standards, safety, quality and environmental regulations to the extent applicable to the position
