Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical, IT and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

As the Process Innovation Architect, you will lead the technological transformation of processes within the shipbuilding industry. Your focus will be on implementing cutting-edge innovation strategies, specifically utilizing emerging technologies in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering, and Industry 4.0. You will work closely with internal experts and manage initiatives to integrate these advanced solutions into the current processes, ensuring minimal risks during the transition.

Key Responsibilities

 Creating a detailed innovation strategy that incorporates emerging technologies, alongside defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact.  Steering the execution of the innovation strategy by developing clear roadmaps with achievable goals and timelines for each initiative.  Overseeing project budgets, resource allocation, and ensuring projects are completed on time.  Providing direct technical expertise as a core contributor to the process development team, offering insights and guidance.  Designing integration strategies for incorporating new technologies into established systems and workflows.  Promoting the adoption of new technologies within the design process by mentoring engineering teams and guiding them through the changes.  Leading and managing R&D projects, including prototyping, pilots, and MVPs, to validate and refine innovative solutions.  Cultivating a culture of creativity and innovation by organizing workshops, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge exchange forums.

 A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading or contributing to research, development, and innovation projects, ideally within the naval or maritime engineering sectors.  A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.  Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.  Outstanding references, as a security clearance will be part of the hiring process.  Permanent EU citizenship and a valid passport are required. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or with dual EU/non-EU nationality and/or passports are not eligible due to project requirements related to military standards.
