You will assist our clients with Supply Chain Services focusing on Ocean Forwarding- Create shipment orders and follow standard operating procedures to ensure delivery of the shipment to the final customer
- Track and trace of ocean forwarding shipment and reporting the status; identify incidents and ensure resolution of incidents
- Prepare, control and distribute all required ocean forwarding documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, customs broker, etc.) and then check responses from counterparts and finalize validation of required documents
- Assist the Support Team in the incident and exception management resolution
- Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers
- Perform overseas communications with the Asian agents
- Perform IT systems related tasks to provide up to date information on shipments
- Responsible for the procurement and the development of our road freight products, sourcing for qualified partners, including domestic and international services
Gevraagd
- 3-4 years of experience in logistics/freight forwarding industry preferred.
- Good team player, service-oriented and self-motivated
- Organizational and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Be able to write and speak in English and Dutch. Chinese is a plus
