Wat ga jij doen?

As the Tech Lead you are responsible for optimizing the developer experience, supporting the team to work as efficiently as possible and take technical impediments up for solving. You are responsible for maintaining the system architecture guidelines, optimize where need and drive knowledge & experience forward in the team.
Product stakeholders will look to you for clarifying technical questions. Overall you are responsible for managing the technical quality of the team deliverables. 

Your key responsibilities

• Continuously improve the development process which helps your team to become more productive
• Provide architectural and design direction and be a technical sparring partner and mentor for the development team to solve software maintenance topics and new developments
• Optimizing hosting & cloud architecture on performance, resilience needs and costing
• Oversee, integrate and optimize the different connected services & applications we are developing and maintaining
• Code quality assurance & PR-process owner
• Deliver and maintain information-, data-& technical architecturedocumentation and support the team in this practice
• Ensure and deliver high product quality 
• Research and suggest new products, services, components and protocols when applicable 
• Consult on the technical landscape at our customers and partners in order to integrate or connect with our applications 
• Support smart automation solutions and initiatives within our organization to be embedded in our tools

ImpactBuying is investing in its SaaS platform successor by redesigning and building a new cloud platform to make sure that our SaaS Suite of apps can scale for the future demand of our clients. IB has several strong in-house agile development and data teams working on our SaaS Suite applications.

Overall Skills
As Tech Lead you are familiar with most, and specialized in some of the below named topics, principles and technologies we use and envision for our products. You have experience with running production workloads in the cloud with a team with several disciplines to design, build, operate and automate a SaaS product. Other requirements 

• Higher Education (Bs or equivalent)
• Proven work experience in software development
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
• Hands on experience with multiple programming languages 
• Certified in TOGAF is a pré
• Experience with Software- and/or Cloud Architecture is a pré 
• Microsoft Development & Azure Certifications are a pré
• Experience in an environment with multiple development teams is a pré 
• Experience in an environment with outsourced development teams is a pré 
• Excellent analytical and organization skills 
• An ability to understand the needs of a Product Owner & the perspective of the teams
