As a procurement team leader, you are an energetic and strategic thinker who likes to lead and motivate others. You have a good understanding of procurement and logistics and know how to make processes smarter and more efficient. In addition, you are a strong talker who switches effortlessly between different teams and stakeholders. You see problems as opportunities and you get energy from coming up with smart solutions.
- You have experience or affinity with procurement, logistics or supply chain;
- You know how to manage and motivate a team to achieve results together;
- You keep an overview, work in a structured way and adapt quickly to changes.
As procurement team leader, you are the liaison between procurement, suppliers and internal teams. You ensure that all required materials arrive on time without unnecessary inventory. This means that you are constantly busy with inventory management, monitoring delivery times and optimizing processes. You keep suppliers on their toes and work closely with departments such as customer service, operations and finance to resolve bottlenecks and ensure a smooth supply chain. In addition, you analyze figures and KPIs to implement strategic improvements and ensure that your team functions optimally.
