Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical, IT and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect to join our IT team, where you will play a key role in designing IT solutions for a range of business and technology projects. Your responsibilities will include developing standardized solutions, creating technical designs, guiding IT initiatives, and collaborating with engineers to enhance and implement solutions. The team follows the TOGAF framework and utilizes the Archimate modeling language. With well-established architectural principles, processes, and vision, your insights will contribute to ongoing improvements in these areas.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide consultation and develop solutions for new and existing IT systems.
• Create reusable standard components and detailed technical designs.
• Support project teams in making informed technology choices.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team and security architects to ensure compliance and secure technical
solutions.
• Work closely with Enterprise Architects to align solutions with strategic objectives, IT architecture, and high-level design principles.

• At least 10 years of experience working on IT solutions, either as an engineer or architect.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT architecture is preferred.
• Strong ability to translate business and technical requirements into effective tools and solutions.
• Familiarity with architecture tools, modeling techniques, and standardization is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management, advisory, and influencing skills.
• Experience dealing with compliance and risk considerations is beneficial.
• Proficiency in English is required, and understanding Dutch is an advantage.
• Must hold permanent EU citizenship and a valid EU passport.
