Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical, IT and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the technical knowledge of systems and products within your scope, specifically focused on flooring and foundations. You will ensure that product information stays up-to-date, market developments are followed, and lessons from previous projects are implemented. Additionally, you will support project teams with your expertise and act as a consultant. In some cases, you may be assigned to a specific project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure technical product information is up-to-date.
• Implement market developments and lessons learned into workflows.
• Make sure technical standards are available for engineering, production, refit, services, and the supply chain.
• Provide consultancy to various project teams.
• Develop product knowledge within the engineering department and make it available to project teams.
• Independently prepare standard technical specifications and scope of work documents.
• Ensure consistency in technical installations across various building numbers.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an engineer in shipbuilding.
• Proficiency with relevant software such as Siemens NX, 3D AutoCAD, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in structural design, hull engineering, exterior engineering, and the integration of moving equipment.
• Experience in FEM and stress analysis, weight management, and budgeting.
• Strong technical insight into yacht building, production, and construction processes.
• Analytical by nature with high standards for delivering quality and results.
