Job Description

As a Test Automation Developer, you will be part of the Test Community where you support 28 Feature Team Test Engineers with troubleshooting and code reviews. Additionally, you will be maintaining and refactoring the automated test suites, while also helping to increase test coverage (on component and contract test level) according to the testing pyramid.

While you will be working with many Test Engineers, it’s also important that you are able to work on your own. You can identify what work needs to be done and what can be improved. You will develop and implement an operational plan for test automation as outlined in the test strategy for the project. You will also be expected to support the Test Engineers in improving their test automation skills and knowledge.

More specifically, you will

• Maintain and refactor the automated test suites to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Support teams in increasing the coverage by creating component and contract tests yourself, ensuring comprehensive testing across all layers.

• Support Test Engineers with good practices and methodologies related to automated testing, enhancing their skills and knowledge.

• Ensure the quality of automated tests by establishing/updating guidelines and standards, and by regularly evaluating the progress and results of test automation.

• Provide insights into testing coverage, helping teams understand areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.

• Enhance the E2E testing framework to support scalability across multiple markets.
