As a Senior Security Engineer at Plukon Food Group, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the digital security of our international IT environment. You design and implement robust security solutions, prevent threats, and ensure our infrastructure complies with the highest security standards. You are a trusted advisor to the business and support IT teams across multiple countries in adopting and optimizing security platforms.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures

• Proactively monitoring and managing security systems and processes

• Conducting risk analyses and vulnerability assessments

• Supporting and advising internal stakeholders on IT security

• Coordinating and resolving security incidents

• Contributing to security awareness across the organization

• Collaborating with external parties to ensure a secure IT environment

• Assisting international IT teams in implementing and improving security platforms

• Overseeing compliance with internal security guidelines and enhancing related processes

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field;

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role;

• Solid knowledge of IT security frameworks such as NIST;

• Experience implementing tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls;

• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or similar are a strong plus;

• Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset;

• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
