At Scania in Meppel, plastic cab and chassis parts are painted. These parts are then transported to Scania’s three European production plants. As a forklift driver, you play a crucial role in making sure everything arrives at the right place on time. Only have reach truck experience? No problem! You’re still eligible for this position.

• gross hourly € 16.48 plus 20.3% shift allowance

It’s important that you meet the following requirements as a logistics employee:

• you are available full-time
• you are available to work in a three-shift schedule
• you have experience driving a forklift or reach truck
• you are willing to work in Meppel
• you live in Meppel or have a car or scooter to get there
• you have a good command of the English or Dutch language

• transporting goods from point A to B using a forklift
• picking or placing orders in the racks
• checking and inspecting goods

The logistics process at Scania Production Meppel plays a key role in delivering the right parts in the correct order. These parts are transported to factories in Zwolle, Angers, and Södertälje — enabling them to build the best trucks possible.

• you’ll work in a three-shift rotation:
• the morning shift starts at 06:00 and ends at 14:18
• the evening shift runs from 14:18 to 22:36 (except on Friday, when it ends at 23:00)
• the night shift runs from 22:36 to 06:00 (except on Sunday night, when it starts at 22:00)
