At this client, they manufacture and supply industrial soaps, dispersions and rigid resins. The main raw materials are natural resins, supplied internationally and modified in reactors during the production process. Within the Maintenance & Engineering department, they have created a new position: Manufacturing Maintenance Coordinator. The focus of this position is mainly on safety.
As Manufacturing Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining maintenance procedures, work permits and lock out - tag out - try out (LOTOOT) procedures. You instruct operators and contractors on these procedures to ensure process safety. In addition, you develop and maintain management systems for preventive maintenance and asset management.
You will work closely with your department, production and EHS to ensure the safety of maintenance work.
Responsibilities:
- Create, improve and maintain maintenance procedures and work permits.
- Instruct operators and contractors according to necessary procedures and permits.
- Develop and maintain an asset management system.
- Expand inspection programme for preventive maintenance.
- Ensuring safety through procedures and permits.
Position in the organisation:
- Reports to: Maintenance Manager
- Directs: Not applicable
Profile:
- MBO4 or equivalent experience within maintenance with an affinity for the process industry.
- Excellent team player with social skills and a proactive attitude.
- Socially adept, enthusiastic and motivated.
- Punctual, determined and results-oriented.
- Strong focus on security.
Knowledge:
- Technical installations and equipment.
- Procedures, permits and LOTOTO (is a plus).
- Legal and other EHS requirements and company regulations.
Technical skills:
- Use of PC and peripherals, standard office applications and company-specific software (SAP).
Communication skills:
- Excellent and effective communication skills in Dutch. English is a plus.
Work-related concerns:
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, odour, moisture and chemicals.
- Mandatory personal protective equipment while on production sites.
