This role is a fantastic opportunity for a diligent HR Officer. You'll support and advise staff and management on a wide range of HR topics, including contracts, payroll, recruitment, and employee wellbeing. Working in an international team, you'll handle both administrative and advisory responsibilities, helping to create a positive and efficient work environment for over 250 employees.

Description

• Provide staff and management with advice on employment matters.
• Responsible for the administration and preparation of files, contracts and benefits.
• Monitor the HR mailbox, resolving queries and escalating if necessary,
• Oversee the onboarding process for new employees.
• Support the transition to and from The Netherlands of all expatriate staff members.
• Coordinate the performance evaluation process and the employee engagement survey.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations and liaise with governmental organizations such as IND, UWV, DUO and Department of Justice.
• Contribute to the development of HR strategies that align with the organization's goals.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

Profile

A successful HR Officer should have:

• A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• at least 3 years of working experience in HR in the Netherlands.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is considered a plus.
• Ideally, you have working knowledge of AFAS Profit, but this is not a necessity.
• Excellent knowledge of local employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capable of multitasking and working on tight deadlines.
