Maybe you noticed, but we have big ambitions. The primary focus of this role will be to provide data-driven insights to support IPP in its commercial decision-making processes. This role involves analysing complex supply chain data to formulate RFQ details, along with supporting documents using various scenario datasets to seek approvals for new investments. The role is responsible for research and understanding market trends and business operations to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a key role in pricing strategies, profitability analysis, budgeting, and forecasting while understanding pricing tables and customer segmentation. You will be adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders while managing contract life cycles to retain volume across the division with a controlled and profitable growth agenda. Additionally, you will develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.

Functie-eisen
You may be our new Commercial Analyst if you:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CIMA) are a plus.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar commercial or financial analysis role.
• Possess excellent Excel skills, along with experience in financial modelling and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Are fluent and confident in English (written and spoken) at an advanced business level.
• Knowledge of another language such as Dutch, French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
• Have in-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques.
• Are a person of high integrity who maintains a relaxed and informal, yet proactive service environment.
• Are flexible and adaptable, while remaining principled and consistently meeting commitments and deadlines.
• Are capable of both delegating and assuming responsibility.
• Work in a results-driven and action-oriented way, with a strong ability to complete tasks, make decisions, and follow through on initiatives.
