As an experienced mechanical project engineer, you know your way around HVAC diagrams. You lead your discipline-specific team to create high quality designs and execute them, upholding the high quality standards.

• Providing leadership and guidance within your engineering discipline;
• Maintaining control over project quality, budget, and deadlines;
• Taking charge of developing, reviewing, and finalizing technical specifications, design documentation, and 3D models;
• Making sure all work adheres to applicable industry standards and regulations;
• Serving as a key technical authority, offering effective solutions to complex engineering issues;
• Facilitating smooth coordination across different technical disciplines;
• Working closely with engineers from various fields to ensure project alignment;
• Supervising and mentoring team members by promoting professional development and upholding high engineering standards;
• Engaging with stakeholders to manage expectations, eliminate roadblocks, and improve manufacturability;
• Evaluating and refining engineering workflows to support continuous development and innovation in design.

• You hold a bachelor's or a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related study; 
• You bring at least five years of engineering experience within the shipbuilding or yacht construction sector;
• You have a background in leading and managing engineering teams;
• You are familiar with, or have hands-on experience using, 3D AutoCAD, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic;
• Your proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is excellent;
• You possess knowledge of, or experience with, exterior systems engineering, mechanical components, and equipment integration;
• You understand cable and panel routing, onboard systems, weight management, and budgeting, and you have a strong technical grasp of yacht construction, including production and assembly processes;
• You are analytical, communicative, and focused on quality and achieving results;
• You are eligible to work in The Netherlands/in Europe.
