The role of Chief Business Officer is a unique opportunity for a commercially driven leader to shape and lead a newly created global role.
As CBO, you’ll be at the helm of a global transformation, moving the organization from a decentralized commercial structure to a unified, strategic growth model.

 

Functie omschrijving
As Chief Business Officer, you will be responsible for aligning and leading the company’s global commercial operations — including strategy development, revenue generation, customer growth, and market expansion.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Strategic & Commercial Leadership and develop and execute a global commercial strategy to drive long-term growth
  • Market Expansion & Customer Succes through market planning for new innovative products, geographies and customer segments
  • Team Leadership & Development:  lead and mentor a team of 5–7 direct reports, with a total team span of 20–30
  • Market Intelligence & Financial Oversight: market trends, KPIs
  • Financial Performance: develop and manage sales & marketing budget
Profiel kandidaat
We’re looking for a strong, strategic leader who combines business acumen, commercial instinct, and international experience. You bring clarity, energy, and cohesion to complex environments — and you’re ready to make a real impact.
Your profile includes:
  • Extensive experience in commercial strategy, marketing, or sales leadership
  • A strong track record of driving revenue and aligning teams globally
  • Experience leading international teams and navigating cross-cultural dynamics
  • Strategic thinking paired with strong financial and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience in B2B, functional food ingredients
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus
