As an MRB Officer at GKN Aerospace in Papendrecht, you'll be the vital link between production, engineering, and quality control, ensuring that every component that leaves our site meets the highest standards. You'll work in a fast-evolving environment where your technical knowledge makes a real difference in flight safety and performance.

In this role, you assess and resolve deviations in the production process. You collaborate with multiple teams to ensure non-conformities are handled properly and in line with aerospace regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse and assess non-conformities from production, logistics, or inspection
• Document deviations accurately in the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Coordinate with engineering and quality to determine next steps: rework, use-as-is, or scrap
• Prepare detailed reports and advise on long-term improvements
• Track trends in rejections and suggest process improvements
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100) and customer requirements
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness

You’re a technically skilled professional who thrives on precision and takes pride in delivering quality. You see complex problems as opportunities to apply your knowledge and collaborate effectively.

Your profile:

• MBO+/HBO degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical or aerospace engineering)
• Experience in a production or MRO environment, preferably aerospace
• Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 or NADCAP is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical documentation
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or QAD is an advantage
• You take initiative and enjoy working in a team setting
