Our client is all about steel, technology and reliability. Every day, they work on impressive installations for inland and maritime shipping – ship hatches and hatch cranes that must be able to withstand weather, wind and heavy loads. These are not machines that you encounter in an average workshop. This is where you do the real work.What does your workday look like?
You start the day with a cup of coffee and a short briefing: today you are going to a ship in the harbor with a colleague. There is a malfunction in a hatch crane that needs to be fixed quickly. Armed with your tools, technical insight and a portion of common sense you get to work. When you get at the location, you analyze the situation, spot the problem and make sure that the crane runs like a charm again.
One day you are working on location, the other day you are working in the workshop on an overhaul of a set of shutters. Everyday is different.
Who are you?
You have an passion about technology and challanges. You are independent, but you also enjoy working together. You understand that ships have to keep going and that your work is a crucial link in that proces. Perhaps you have experience in hydraulics, mechanical engineering or agricultural mechanization - or you are simply a professional who can hold his own.
De functie eisen op een rijtje
- You are motivated and physically fit;
- You have VCA or are willing to obtain this;
- You have technical knowlegde;
- You are willing to travel to the locations in Harlingen and Delzijl, possibly with an company bus;
- A driving lincense B;
- You speak Dutch and Englisch or just English.
- A permanent position in a small, comitted team;
- Great projects in the maritime world;
- Good tools to work with;
- A no-nonsense atmosphere where your work matters;
- A salary between €15 and €21 per hour, depending on your experience and education;
- The oppertunity to continue lerarning and developing yourself.
