To strengthen the team, this small and informal organization is looking for a Python developer with a good eye for UX/UI design. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced developers on a complex, proprietary software product within a close-knit team.

The company builds accessible yet powerful SaaS solutions for lawyers and legal professionals. They now serve over 250 clients both in the Netherlands and abroad. The team consists of 25 colleagues spread across development, support, and consultancy, including a small team in Poland and one colleague in Sweden who supports new clients locally. There are no strict departments—everyone works full stack and contributes to the bigger picture.

The culture is open and based on trust: results matter more than presence. You can start your day anytime between 7:00 and 10:00. There’s space for breaks, deep work, and personal matters, as long as the job gets done.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team consisting of a lead developer, one senior, and five medior developers, supported by three colleagues in Poland. You’ll contribute to further developing the software platform, bringing your UX/UI sensibility into the process. You focus on quality, spot risks early, and always keep the end user in mind.

The team works independently and professionally. There’s a short daily stand-up at 10:00, regular pair-programming sessions, and a mature development process where all code is reviewed before going live.

Tech Stack
Backend: Python, Django, MySQL, Linux
Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO or WO)
• At least 2 years of experience as a software developer
• Knowledge of Python (experience with Django is a plus)
• Affinity with UX/UI design
• Strong analytical skills: you can oversee complex systems and think structurally
• Fluent in both Dutch and English

• Salary between €4,000 – €6,000 gross per month (depending on experience)
