As a Microsoft Engineer at Nedap, you will have the freedom to work alongside our IT Architect and infrastructure team to shape our modern hybrid infrastructure. You will apply your knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, and Intune to implement innovative solutions that make a real impact. 

We manage our IT infrastructure in-house, with very little outsourcing. This means you can truly make a difference and focus on what’s exciting: implementing cutting-edge solutions within our hybrid cloud architecture; such as rolling out laptops worldwide with Autopilot, enhancing endpoint security with Windows Hello, or developing an (AI) chatbot to simplify work for you and your colleagues. 

Our environment is based on Azure, Microsoft 365, and Intune. Together with the organization, we are transitioning from on-premises to the Azure platform. You will be involved in the entire process, from design to implementation. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., using Terraform) to make our infrastructure faster, safer, and more consistent.

• Managing and implementing Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive;
• Maintaining and optimizing Microsoft servers within our hybrid cloud environment;
• Automating repetitive tasks (for example, using PowerShell and Ansible) and leveraging AI tools to speed up processes;
• Leading challenging projects, working independently as well as collaboratively to create smart solutions;
• Analyzing and resolving technical issues while communicating clearly with colleagues;
• Participating in the on-call duty rotation, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

You also actively stay informed about the latest trends in your field and continuously develop your skills through training and practice.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within an Enterprise environment, and the ambition to continue growing in this area;
• A strong curiosity for the latest innovations and technologies within the Microsoft domain, and the ability to translate them into proof-of-concept projects;
• Knowledge of Microsoft systems, particularly Windows, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365;
• Experience with Azure and/or other cloud platforms, and an interest in automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is a plus).
