As a Service Technician, you are the first on site in the event of malfunctions of machines at the customer. An important and rewarding role because you ensure that the machine can be put back into operation as soon as possible. So do you like a technical challenge and flexibility in your work? IN SHORT

• You will investigate and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures. You do this on location at customers in the Netherlands and the rest of the world
• You advise customers on the use and technical maintenance of the machine they use
• You are involved in testing and commissioning machines that are ready for transport to the customer

Machines are made by Oxbo worldwide. For the Netherlands, this is at the locations in Roosendaal and Belfeld. This is where machines made by Oxbo are designed and produced. From cutting and bending the metal sheets to spraying and assembling into a machine that drives out of the showroom here, ready for its adventure with the customer.

With 18,000 m2 of production space, the location where you will be working is a true Valhalla if you like technology. The engineers design and draw the machines and everything is made on the floor. We have spacious workplaces, everyone has their own tools and we invest in machines that support the production process. The support departments such as service, sales, finance and HR are also located in Roosendaal. 

In 1959 Oxbo started as Ploeger Machines in Roosendaal and since then we have grown into an international company with customers in 40 countries around the world. Through various acquisitions and collaborations, we now have around 1,400 employees, spread over 14 factory locations and 13 service locations in North and South America, France, England and the Netherlands. The head office? That is still in Roosendaal. 

• You have at least a completed MBO education, specialising in mechanical engineering, agricultural or motor vehicle technology
• You have experience in analyzing and solving technical malfunctions on machines
• You think in terms of solutions and don't mind performing under pressure
• You are willing to travel internationally to provide service at customer location. Depending on the service demand and location, you will be away from home for an average of between 1-5 days. In between service jobs, you will work at our workshop in Roosendaal
• You have no objection to joining the 24/7 service department
• You have a command of the English language verbally and in writing. This is important for the contact you have with the customer
• You are in possession of a B-E driving licence

• Salary in accordance with the collective labor agreement Metalektro and based on experience and age €2.400 – €3.400 
• 27 vacation days and 13 adv days for full-time employment
• A one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment
