As a crane assistant, you will support the crane operator on the construction site, especially in headline fastening operations. This involves:

• Clean up debris and concrete residue around the crane
• Assist with headhunting (breaking off concrete heads around rebar)
• Assist in grinding cuttings
• Maintains and cleans tools and machines
• In the future, learns to saw and cut concrete (internally trained)

This job requires physical stamina: a lot of standing, bending, lifting and working in changing weather conditions are part of the job. But you get a challenging and varied working day in return - and a great job that you can learn in practice.

Departure from Alphen aan den Rijn - Construction sites throughout the Netherlands

Working days from 07:00 to 16:00 (departure from 06:00)

You will join a specialist in concrete processing, demolition technology, soil remediation and construction preparation. They have been delivering professional work on large-scale projects throughout the Netherlands for decades. The team has a down-to-earth, direct mentality: you know where you stand and everyone helps each other. There is a lot of in-house knowledge and room to develop yourself.

• You are a go-getter who likes physical work
• You speak Dutch or English
• You preferably have a VCA certificate (or are willing to obtain one within 3 months)
• You have a flexible attitude and no 9-to-5 mentality
• You can apply for a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) when you join us
• You live at a reasonable distance from Alphen aan den Rijn (daily departure from there)

• A tough and varied job in the outdoors
• A salary indication between €3000 and €3500 gross per month
• Internal training in areas such as sawing and headhunting - career opportunities
• Fixed working hours - start early and finish on time every day
• Travel expenses and travel time allowance (1 hour travel time per day)
• Prospect of a permanent contract with good performance
