Do you have a passion for optimizing complex systems and bridging the gap between engineering and IT? We are looking for a Business Analyst Engineering to support and enhance the engineering department's business applications. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring effective collaboration between engineering and IT, contributing to the success of innovative naval projects. Responsibilities

 Working closely with engineers, IT specialists, and other stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, specifications, and processes. Analyzing data and engineering workflows to identify trends and generate actionable insights that drive improvements. Identifying inefficiencies within engineering processes and recommending solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Evaluating the financial implications of engineering decisions and providing recommendations that align with the organization’s business objectives. Acting as the key point of contact between Engineering and IT, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with project goals. Assisting in the implementation of new systems, processes, and technologies, contributing to continuous organizational improvement. Maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation, including project plans, business cases, and process flows, to ensure transparency. Assessing new technologies and tools that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering operations. Supporting knowledge transfer and ongoing process improvements within the team.Functie-eisen
 A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least three years of professional experience. Familiarity with engineering tools, project management processes, IT platforms, and software development. Experience with project management tools and ideally exposure to naval or other complex engineering projects. Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus. Core competencies: Customer focus, results-driven, quality orientation, teamwork, initiative, and critical thinking. Excellent references, as a pre-assignment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment process. Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required. Candidates with an EU work visa or those holding dual (EU/non-EU) nationality are not eligible due to security requirements associated with the military nature of the projects.Arbeidsvoorwaarden
