Description of assignment

Are you passionate about coding, data, and solving real-world tech challenges? Join us as an intern and help build an intelligent Web Scraper tool that detects and predicts hardware and software End-of-Life (EOL) from online sources. You'll gain hands-on experience in web crawling, data extraction, and automation, contributing to proactive IT lifecycle management.

EOL awareness is vital for maintaining security, compliance, and operational efficiency. Once hardware or software reaches EOL, it stops receiving updates and support, increasing the risk of cyberattacks and system failures. Our tool aims to automate the monitoring of EOL information by crawling manufacturer websites, forums, and databases to identify announcements, end-of-support dates, and discontinuations.

The goal is to process this data to provide early warnings of obsolescence, enabling businesses to plan timely upgrades, avoid costly downtime, and reduce risk. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills to a project with real-world impact.
