If you perform well, there is even the possibility of getting a permanent contract with the client.

Are you still studying, would you like some free time with your children or are you looking for a flexible job for at least 2 days a week? Then this might be the perfect job for you.

What will you do?

As an order picker at Royal FloraHolland, you are an important link in the logistical process of the auction. Every morning thousands of flowers and plants are sold here from all over the world. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that these flowers and plants get to the right customers. You drive on an electric truck with a trolley of flowers behind you and via the instructions through your headset you hear where to go in the hall. 

Your tasks are:

• Distributing the flowers and plants to the right place in the hall
• Following instructions through the headset 
• Working with your colleagues to ensure satisfied customers

Work takes place in the morning. Every morning we start at 06:00 with a start of the day. Here you will hear what your tasks are for the day, how busy it is and what today's particulars are. The end times vary from day to day, as this depends on how many orders we have received that day. The busiest day is on Mondays where your finishing time will be between 11:00 and 13:00, on other days the finishing time is on average between 10:00 and 12:00. With a 5-day working week, you will end up with around of 20-25 hours per week.

Before you start working at the flowerauction you will get 2 trainingdays. In these days everything about the safety rules, proces and work will be explained.

Applying for a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) may be part of the selection process.

Through Actief Werkt, you will go to work at Royal FloraHolland. Royal FloraHolland is the largest flower auction in the world and has been connecting buyers and growers of flowers and plants for over 100 years. We can be found at 3 locations, namely Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg. With this vacancy you are replying to a spot in Aalsmeer.

Every morning from 06:00, Actief Werkt is present at the branches for your questions or comments.

✅ A starting salary of €16,04 per hour or an all-in salary of €17.73 per hour
